Bankers get puzzling task when Chinese kid rips up dad's cash

Bank clerks in Shanghai, China, recently replaced 9,200 yuan (US$1,340 dollars) worth of seriously damaged banknotes for a father who said his child tore up the money while he was busy cooking a Christmas Eve meal. With a major purchase due soon, the family was in trouble until local bankers with a talent for puzzles came to the rescue.
