David Htan expected to become one of five impact players in AFF Suzuki Cup 2018

MYANMAR midfielder David Htan, who is playing for domestic club Shan United FC in Myanmar National League, is expected to become one of the five impact players in the Group-A of AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 as well as a collection of probable starlets across the ten AFF Suzuki Cup teams.
Four other impact players are Pham Duc Huy from Viet Nam, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha from Malaysia Soukaphone Vongchiengkham from Laos and Brak Thiva from Cambodia. These five impact players are crucial ‘building blocks’ of their national teams. They can save their national teams by giving much help whenever their teams are in crisis.
David Htan will be likely to have an important role to play in controlling a back four against some dangerous Group A forwards. Even though he’s not the tallest of defenders, he can correct a bad situation with a good positional sense, reading of the play and ability to cleanly win one-on-one challenges.
He is the two-time Myanmar National League winning player with Yangon United FC. He moved to Shan United for the 2018 football season. He won the best youth play of the year 2011.
